Bob is a shareholder in the Estate Planning and Probate Section. In his 38 years of law practice in Midland, he has handled a wide variety of estate planning, probate, trust, estate administration, and guardianship matters. Bob is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.

AREAS OF CONCENTRATION

Estate Planning and Probate

Bob devotes the majority of his active practice to estate planning, probate, and estate administration matters, and to creation, administration, and termination of trusts. Because of Midland's location in the heart of the Permian Basin, he has devoted substantial time to estate planning for persons involved in the oil and gas industry, including management personnel of energy companies, independent oil and gas operators, and mineral owners.

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

Bob is a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and has served as a member of its Board of Deacons and its Session, as well as a teacher of adult church school classes. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of United Presbyterian Foundation (Synod of the Sun) and has served on the boards of several other local nonprofit organizations, including the local chapter of the Arthritis Foundation and Samaritan Counseling Center of West Texas, Inc. (President, 1991). He is an active member of the Planned Giving Advisory Committee of the University of Texas.
