Cory practices in the firm's Estate Planning and Probate Section. He is licensed to practice law in Texas.

Cory's practice focuses primarily on estate planning for individuals with high net worth or income, special needs planning, and helping clients dealing with probate matters following the death of a loved one.  He also regularly assists attorneys in other states seeking an ancillary probate    in Texas . 

Cory has also assisted other sections of the firm in matters involving business formation, tax, and estate litigation issues.

His clients have included various business owners, doctors, ranchers, executors, trustees, banks, veterinarians, relatives of individuals with special needs, educators, ministers, other attorneys, accountants, executives and other professionals in the oil industry, including engineers, etc.

Cory is currently the Attorney Director for the Midland Odessa Business and Estate Council.  He grew up in Permian Basin and as a teenager and young adult spent time working in the oil fields surrounding Imperial, Texas .  Cory is active in the community and enjoys volunteering with local entities such as his church, Midland Independant School District, Midland College , Teen Court and Legal Aid.  Cory is often asked to speak on Estate Planning and Probate Issues.

While in law school, Cory was elected to membership in Phi Delta Phi honors law fraternity, was a staff writer for the Texas Tech Lawyer magazine and co-founded the Roo Bar Association, an organization for Austin College alumni entering the legal profession. Cory also received the Texas Tech Law Partner's Scholastic Achievement Award and American Jurisprudence Awards for Superior Academic Achievement in Business Entities and Criminal Law.
