Biography

Jordan is an sharholder practicing in the firm’s litigation section. Jordan is licensed to practice in
Texas. He is also a member of the Litigation, and Environmental and Natural Resources
Sections of the State Bar of Texas. Jordan has been recognized as a Rising Star in the area of
civil litigation by Texas Super Lawyers from 2022 to the present. When he is away from the
office, Jordan enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their two children.

Jordan has experience litigating commercial and contractual disputes spanning the oil and gas industry,
residential and commercial construction, and consumer claims under the Texas Deceptive Trade
Practices Act. He has successfully resolved lawsuits through trial, summary judgment and appeals in
cases involving breach of contract, employment disputes (restrictive covenants and non‐solicitation
agreements), breach of fiduciary duty, governmental immunity under the Texas Tort Claims Act,
collection matters, and allegations of fraud and misrepresentation.

AREAS OF CONCENTRATION

Oil and Gas Litigation

Jordan has worked closely with clients in oil and gas industry while handling disputes that touch upon
almost every aspect of oil and gas operations in the Permian Basin. His experience includes pre‐suit
investigations of oilfield accidents, defending against catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death
claims, filing and responding to mineral liens, defending and prosecuting claims for injunctive relief,
defending and prosecuting claims for breach of contract, and pursuing and responding to claims for
defense and indemnity. Jordan’s experience covers all facets of litigation from pre‐suit investigations to
litigation through trial and any necessary appeals.

Commercial Litigation

Jordan devotes a significant portion of his practice to commercial litigation. In addition to his oil and gas
experience, Jordan represents residential builders and contractors in breach of contract and debt
collection matters. Jordan’s commercial litigation experience also includes pursuing claims for breach of
commercial real estate contracts, secured creditor transactions under the Uniform Commercial Code,
prosecuting and defending claims with various state agencies such as the Texas Real Estate Commission,
Texas Board of Public Accountancy and the Texas Workforce Commission as well as representing
landowners in condemnation proceedings.

Catastrophic Personal Injury and Wrongful Death

Jordan works closely with his clients and their insurers in cases involving claims for personal injury and
wrongful death, including oilfield injuries, on‐the‐job accidents, and commercial motor vehicle and
automobile accidents. Jordan has experience in all facets of catastrophic personal injury and wrongful
death lawsuits including pre‐suit investigation, discovery and trial.
